FIFA is asking for volunteers for the 2026 World Cup.

VOLUNTEERS!

FIFA is a $6 billion USDollar company.

It can and should pay wages for the labour to put on its biggest revenue-generating event.

People of Vancouver, don’t fall for this nonsense.

We are democratizing art. No longer will you have to pay someone who owns a data center just to generate pictures. With a pencil and notepad that costs less than a dollar, you too can create Artisanal Imagery.
The word around town is that the next big thing is Artisanal Imagery, hand-made visuals that you simply have to own if you don't want to be left behind

So, I've deleted my 23andMe account.

If you have one, you should probably delete it too since the company appears to be on the verge of going belly up and there's no way to know what happens with your data once they do.

Thank you, Katie. I may be pollyana, but there are still thousands of BC United/BC Liberal members and non-members out there supporting the need for a rational centre party. If we can't rebuild, something will fill the void.
NEW - Former BC United MLA Karin Kirkpatrick is calling on Kevin Falcon to step down as leader, saying he’s standing in the way of the party’s ability to pay its debts and begin rebuilding: “Falcon betrayed our party and its candidates,” when he withdrew from election.

The Cowichan sweater is technically a sweater because it's knitted, but it's not really a sweater in that it's not like any you've likely encountered. It's rough, rugged, and wears more like outerwear than the merino pullovers or cardigans you find at the mall.
