Sorry in advance if I offend anyone with this statement, but as someone who works in the industry (non-Hollywood), it irks me how movies/series in foreign languages got overlooked bcs people are lazy.
Movies are bigger than just the ones on the Western side my dudes.

Just watched Mike Leigh’s Secrets & Lies. This seems to me like the only way one should do drama though imho.

I can’t believe it took me THIS long to watch Scorsese’s The King of Comedy. Rupert Pupkin is one the most complex (if not THE best) movie characters ever created.

I have found my favorite Kurosawa film. Ran (1985) is arguably one of the most visually stunning films I have ever had the privilege to watch.
