I'll try to send more funds today, and please pass on whatever encouragement is best to the Ukrainian soldiers you serve with too. I think of them and the Ukraine often.

I was thinking of you today specifically.

Many have forgotten. Most likely focus on the Great Wars. But many remember. Korea - that was worth fighting, just wish we won, for the sake of North Koreans. Afghanistan. Seeds planted may grow there yet. Ukraine. I'm thankful you are there.

She forgives you. She says that she understands humans just aren't as tasteful as oranges.

(Sorry, Quill, Valencia can be a little acidic at times. 😬 But she put a flower in her toque, so she's actually quite happy.)

She's peeking out now.

Valencia is horrified that she might remind anyone of such an appalling person, and is hiding her face in shame. She thinks she has more a-peel than any mere human.

Instead, I'll just mention that you know that demon harpy that haunts you sometimes. Yeah, I could totally take her down.

And even without me, Quill could easily collect her, and press her in a big book like some people do with flowers or leaves. Quill probably already has a pressed demon book.

I hadn't had a chance to read this when I wrote my Rime Royal yesterday.

I don't want to diminish the power of that poem by telling you to reread everything I've ever written about you when you feel that way again, and know that it is just as true, so I won't say that.

AI generated after I failed at trying to draw one. But I think this should become the internationally accepted emoji for "I enjoy you!"
November 6, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Well now I'm also curious, and want to know what you are whispering about!
November 6, 2025 at 9:28 PM
Yup! That's philia, with maybe some enjoyment, appreciation and affection in the mix - at least that's what I'm feeling.
November 6, 2025 at 9:20 PM
😍

Philia?

Romance?

Enjoyment?

Agape?

Storge?

Xenia?

Philautia?

Eros?

Appreciation?

Charity?

....Calling birds? French hens? Turtle doves? A partridge?

I wanted to write something along these lines, the first one at least, and then I saw this week's form! So here's a Rhyme Royale, complete with lambic pentameter and 7 lines - just trust it doesn't cross any. 🤞☺️

"I know it doesn't rhyme, but it's a great colour." 🧡😂🧡

Radical acceptance is the worst!

I suspect that your poem gave expression to an important energy in many besides just me....there's more of us....👽👽👽👽👽👽👽

Any answers yet? 😃

Both true stories are worth checking out though.
November 4, 2025 at 7:04 PM
My take aways from both are the importance of human relationships. Maybe even that we need to live in better harmony with each other before, or as part of, living in better harmony with nature. Which I found both validating, and like a bucket of cold reality being dumped on me!
😠😰☹️

It's a true story based on the life of Christopher McCandless who, as a successful young man from an affluent American family, gave away everything he possessed to live with nature in Alaska.

"North of Normal", an autobiography of Cea Sunrise Person who grew up this way has similar themes, I think.
