At what point does “proper England” football run its course? It feels like we’re running our luck and could get seriously stung by Spain*

Curious what you think — I got the sense the players weren’t entirely playing for him though, their heads went down when they conceded the second and the subs seemed questionable.

Poor choices in their own third too considering how they conceded that penalty! Wow they made it hard for themselves!

Perhaps Wiegman saw something in Hampton that we all hadn’t after all!

So true. Perhaps Weigman saw something we all didn’t after all!

My eyes might have deceived me from my view in the stadium but I thought there was a glorious display of total football on show today, some excellent switches of positions which complimented (and compensated) for gaps that were so easily exposed against France

Yeah I think they’re just that good that they can unfortunately

The entire build up was excellent too

I like my steamdeck, but I adore my switch 2.

The only thing going for steam deck is the choice of games (which is a huge one don’t get me wrong).

But there’s no comparison when it comes to both the hardware and software; the steamdeck feels cheap and it’s incredibly buggy.

It’s so charming, and the colour of the river running through it is amazing!

We have a huge problem in the middle, and at full back.

Wiegman fell into the classic England manager trap of making choices based on loyalty rather than form.

Did that qualify as “shithousing” a win for Norway? Or were Switzerland makers of their own downfall?

I appreciate that, the price of a court in London is reason enough tbh!

This was a wonderful read, as someone who is starting to feel age catch up with them and take its toll, it really resonated and I empathise entirely. Congrats on a long career no doubt full of memories. Might I recommend Padel, it’s a little less toll on the knees.
