Not-so-fun fact: Safari blocks autoplay on muted background videos (hi, Low Power Mode 👋) and slaps on a giant play button you can’t remove with CSS or JS. Bonus: the button doesn’t even work.

WebKit lives in its own reality.

This has been a delightful day, thank you. Wrapped up several months of effort and enjoying the fruits of my labor in a beautiful place.

It's 2003 in NYC with @yimay.bsky.social. The table tops were chalkboard. I drew a basic table and we competed to see who could code it in HTML the fastest.

I grew up going to Aggie bonfires and watching the classic TAMU/UT rivalry on Thanksgiving weekend. Excited to see this rivalry return after a long hiatus. #GigEm

Froze my butt off the first night, but then improved my warmth strategy. The day time weather (high 60s) was PERFECT!

Got to see some beautiful sunsets AND the full beaver moon!

Fajitas: it’s what’s for dinner.
Fajita ingredients: Foil wrapper holding mixed slices of red and green bell pepper with onion. Bowl of marinating skirt steak. Plate with two raw chicken breasts sprinkled with seasons. Two Chicken breasts, two strips of skirt steak, and foil wrap with bell peppers and onion on a flaming grill.

I thought this was overhyped for people to take off work and travel, but living in the #PathOfTotality and making minimal effort, I’ve got to say the #SolarEclipse was really cool.
