So Trump has been directly or indirectly responsible for canceling Colbert, PBS and NPR all in the span of one week?

Are people awake to what’s happening yet?

Thinking today of all the women in my life who are sisters, friends, mentors, neighbors, colleagues, leaders, inspirations all, and how grateful I am for them.

Proud to be a woman.

Happy International Women's Day!

To honor one of the most compassionate Americans we've ever known, consider an act of kindness today, for a loved one or even a stranger, however small.

Be the reason someone feels seen today. Sometimes all it takes is a kind word or a sincere gesture.

It will make Jimmy smile.

Opinion | Jimmy Carter Deserved Our Thanks and Respect, Not Our Sneers
We in the media and chattering class jeered at a man who probably improved more lives over a longer period than any recent president.

President Jimmy Carter has passed away at 100. He taught us about compassion, empathy & kindness from watching him here when he was hurt & persevered to do what he loved best at Habitat For Humanity! He inspired us to be better humans. What an incredible person & gift he was. May he rest in peace.🙏💜

Four in five people who will use Obamacare in 2025 are from states that voted for Donald Trump.

Oh.

So the people who whine about the Affordable Care Act are the ones who are going to be using it?

SMH. 🙄

Can we get 500 reposts on this? Please join me in signing the petition to urge President Biden to pardon our friend Reality Winner. If there is a way to hit the goal of 15,000 signatures it would be by way of Bluesky. Please consider signing and asking others to: reality-is.us/pardon-reali...

Gratitude starts within ourselves. I am so grateful to be here. I am so grateful that I focus my energy on advocating. I am so grateful to have your love & support. I am so grateful for the people that check-in on me to see how I'm feeling. I'm so grateful for my service dog Anjelika. I am GRATEFUL!

Here's your daily reminder that bookstores keep the love of reading alive — but they also keep neighborhoods beautiful. They are places to gather, to celebrate stories, to find community.

Please do your holiday shopping at your local independent bookstore, if you are lucky enough to still have one.
