Kineko Video has already done this, However I believe it was done with a very early version of VHS-Decode, so it's possible mine will look better. Over the past year the way we rip VHS has changed massively, so even a 1-Year gap matters.

Finally got a hold of the first One Piece Anime from 1998. I know it's been ripped, but the raw tape data hasn't been preserved on the Internet Archive yet. Expect a VHS-Decode "Sometime Soon" (whenever I get around to it). And yes, One Piece IS a 90s Anime. Deal with it.

Like seriously, this shit is inescapable when it comes to Tbolt. it's literally the least interesting/important thing about December Sky in particular. If anything, setting it in a version of the OYW as we know drives home how meaningless the fight is and how much of a dead end the Psycho Zaku is.

Watched Gundam Thunderbolt on the big screen at MoMI today. I still think it's one of the single best non-Tomino Gundam things period.
Of course over the ending credits the first thing the guy sitting behind me loudly explains to his friend is how it's alt-UC because the tech is too advanced
