Last week, we filed a FOIA lawsuit against the Trump administration with our partners at @justfutureslaw.bsky.social demanding information on ICE and CBP’s use of Israeli surveillance tools against US citizens. Staff attorney Samah Sisay shares more in the video below.

Yesterday, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the government's request to suspend Mahmoud Khalil’s release on bail and re-detain him pending its appeal of the district court’s bail order.

Mr. Khalil is seeking $20 million, which he would use to help others similarly targeted by the Trump administration and Columbia University. He would accept, in lieu of payment, an official apology and abandonment of the administration’s unconstitutional policy

Mahmoud Khalil today filed a claim detailing the harm he has suffered as a result of his politically motivated arrest and detention. The claim is a precursor to a federal lawsuit against the Trump administration, which he will bring under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Our response to @NYPDPC Tisch's decision to flip the guilty verdict for Lt. Rivera after the NYPD's judge and Deputy Commissioner said to fire him for his role in the murder of #AllanFeliz. #FireJonathanRivera!

In response to the recent resignation of Kimberly Terrell, former director of community engagement at Tulane's Environmental Law Clinic, in light of recent censorship of her work by university leaders, senior staff attorney Pam Spees issued the following statement.
