Respectfully, Congresswoman, you voted with Republicans to strip due process from immigrants and to praise Trump's ICE. This year.

Now you're upset?

Votes have consequences. Minnesotans deserve better.
ICE agents followed a Burnsville family home from the store, failed to present a warrant and entered their home with guns drawn. They detained 4 legal citizens who presented documentation, leaving a 7 year-old without parents.

A seven-year-old. Let that sink in. Trump’s ICE is out of control.

Really cool to see how happy so many people are about the brand-new E Line. I hadn't ridden the 6 since college, so I can't speak to that corridor myself, but I've seen lots of posts from people who are excited about more frequent service.
Super excited to celebrate the opening of the @metrotransitmn.bsky.social E line today! We're so fortunate to have visionary leaders who have funded a strong and growing transit system! Already visited places I'd never been before in Minneapolis and Edina.

Stats from the E Line opening event. First time Metro Transit has added three bus rapid transit lines in one year. They're ending 2025 with 15% more transit service than this time last year.

Bummer that it's not route 3 becoming the E Line tomorrow. Metro Transit could have made a fun gif of the number 3 flipping horizontally to become an E in their ads. 3 ➡️ E

Glad to see an alert on the route 6 schedule page about tomorrow's switch to the E Line. Could be more obvious on the page (the default is Schedules & Maps, so you have to know to click Alerts), but at least it's there this time.

Of the 80,000 Somalis who live in the twin cities, only 4000 are non-citizens. And the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of those 4000 non-citizens are NOT undocumented—they are here legally.

There is no immigration issue to enforce here.

I know racists don't care about this, but these facts do matter

The B Line is finally updating its onboard announcements for downtown Saint Paul. As recently as last Tuesday when this blurry video was taken, they were saying Xcel Energy Center. Now the arena name has been (temporarily?) dropped from the Smith and 5th Street Station message. #MSPTransitExperience

Yesterday was my first time on transit since it snowed last weekend. The stop where I got off my first bus wasn't shoveled so our driver let us off almost in the intersection. #MSPTransitExperience

I know it's too easy to grow numb to the constant flood of bigotry that comes out of his mouth but it does seem morally important you don't allow yourself or anyone else to become desensitized to this vile racism as a normal part of our politics

This is not great. The METRO bus rapid transit system is faster and more frequent than regular route service, but it removes reasonably close service for many people who need it. #MSPTransitExperience
When Route 6 is discontinued, the closest Metro Transit stop for me and my kids will be 0.8 miles away. 😑

Lots of people sharing this clip because it's funny and cathartic but I also genuinely believe it's important.

We have to win the narrative battle between "I live in a corrupt society and that's just how it is" and "I live in a corrupt society and we are going to defeat and humiliate these ghouls."

Hey @metrotransitmn.bsky.social , looks like your police could use some training about not parking their SUVS on sidewalks and fully blocking the Capital City Bikeway. This was taken about 5:15pm this evening. I saw no officers in the vehicles but two standing on the LRT station across the street.

"We are witnessing history, and we need to start telling the stories the way they are and not the way the government wants us to believe... The question now is: Are we going to give up, or are we going to keep fighting for our communities, our families, and our future? If we don’t fight, who will?"
"'Dónde está papi,' 'Where is daddy?' is the question I have heard from children in my community. Often, no one has answers as some detainees are never properly registered, and families don’t even know they have been taken."
