Brooks makes a good point here. In the last twenty years, our social circle has become more diverse, including more people who aren't college educated. Democrats would do well to listen to the voices of these people who work hard and are the backbone of society in many ways.

Excellent book. I loved it. And I haven't read David Copperfield (yes, I realize that is a deficiency in my education). Enjoy!

I'm "lucky" that I have hearing aids so I can listen to my audiobooks whenever I want as well. It's nice to have options.

I carry a big purse, so there's room for a book. As long as it's not a really big book, but I am always reading several books, so I just pick the smallest one.

This is the only Stephen King book I've been able to read. All of his others drift too much into the horror realm for my taste. This is an excellent book, though. Very scary!

The Perfect Couple by Erin Hildebrand and The Briar Club by Kate Quinn. The book club I'm part of is reading The Sunflower by Richard Paul Evans, so I have to get that one read in the next couple of weeks.

I'm a Christian and former Evangelical and found this book really good. It was spot - on for the stuff I already knew, so I could trust him on the other stuff. And he's just a good writer.
