Fascinating. After my hysterectomy I asked my surgeon how long I would have to take estrogen. He said, "You'll be taking it when you go!" And I'm still taking it at 92, no problems

Not good, but maybe that's why people go as far away as they can from other people. They believe they can rule the roost and keep only their own special chickens near by. They're missing a lot of interesting interactions and good times.

So true. We'll regret the positive steps we could have taken and did not take. Step up, call whoever you think can make things happen, or,even better,,,,,,make things happen yourself.

We have some nasty history in our country. We're relatively new in the world; Europe has had it's share as well as most other parts of the world. Keep looking and working toward the goodness.

Amen to that. Strong unions, a la Jimmy Hoffa and friends, were scary, but when reasonable, they hold the proper power. There were a lot of stories about Amazon squelching attempts to unionize.
