☢️ Khmelnytskyi and Rivne nuclear power plants have been operating at reduced power for over 10 days following the Russian attack on the substation, - IAEA.

As a result of the strike, both nuclear power plants were disconnected from one of their two high-voltage lines (750 kV).

Emergency diesel generators are currently used to power the systems. 7/18 generators that provide cooling for the nuclear fuel are currently operating.

For the second day, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is in blackout mode, forced to rely on diesel generators after losing external power. Energoatom says Russia is deliberately keeping it disconnected, despite the power line on the Ukrainian side being fully operational.
