In hospital, 12 hrs post-op, on pain meds, waiting to leave. Memories of 2 wks ago: Horrible pain, no sleep, no food or drink for over 24 hours (even though the dr said I could). Wanting to sketch my hospital room was the real reason I went through with the surgery. #urbansketcher

I haven't made any in a year or so, but it's just like riding a bike. Turned out perfect! I have another loaf to bake today. Making sourdough bread really relaxes me, and eating fresh, warm sourdough with lots of butter relaxes me even more! #sourdough #bakingbread

My husband & I were honored to be invited to a memorial & condolence book signing put on by The Carter Center at Gates Foundation in Seattle Tues. It was lovely & very touching, & it felt good to honor a truly decent man after the debacle of Monday. @allwyn386.bsky.social

My two weenies would like a word... trump's a son-of-a-bitch treasonous asshole, and he certainly doesn't have the courage, or love, of a weenie! Weenies were bred to hunt badgers; trump turned tail & ran when he was supposed to fight!

Here's my tuxedo girl Shermie, here in WA, saying a hard NO! to the snow. She was rescued from sunny Mexico and preferred to sleep on our heating vents in winter. Come to think of it, she was undocumented... uh-oh. (Dog is Emma, born here in WA so snow is in her blood)
