I'd like to see those in this current Dept. of Ed. attempt to spend even 1 week doing the work in any of the careers that they now call "non-professions", let alone 40 yrs. Do any of them have a master's degree in these professions? How dare they demean such hard work & devotion to other people.

This is why the WH & the GOP are dismantling the Department of Education. It's in Project 2025 to rid the country of public education.

The ancients all lived in socialist tribes. The 1st settlers (i.e. Puritans) were able to survive by living in a socialist community. People who work together survive because they share necessities. Humans need each other. Democratic, socialist capitalism is how we survive together.

We lost the last of our sweet furry babies last night. We rescued Amber as kitten, being honored & blessed with her sweet, playful, social personality for almost 17 years. As with all the others, we will miss her terribly. 😪

If you or I had only showed up for work for 14 days in 4 months, we'd have been fired long ago. Congress is employed by voters & paid by taxpayers. They work for us. Fire those who won't do their job.

Every accusation is an admission. He accused the No Kings protesters of being paid. Yet, he's the one who paid for a rebellion against our Capitol.

Humans have migrated across the planet for millennia, seeking a better climate, farmland, hunting, shelter. No one should be turned away when fleeing war, destruction or any life threatening situation. Every human deserves a chance of a better life for themselves & their children.

Only 1 week a month? They should have to work 52 weeks/year, with only federal holidays, 3 sick days & 1 personal day each year. How many millions of Americans have absolutely no paid days off, no paid vacation or sick days for a fraction of income Congress gets? We pay for this.

My husband (Vietnam), my father (WWII) & my uncle (WWII) all served in the Navy. Other family members & ancestors served in the Army since the Revolutionary War. They loved America. It's shameful to put a draft dodger in any military uniform. Disgusting.
