It's a beautiful cool morning in Fort Portal and we are setting up for Day 2 of training delivered by the APT Sepsis champions to the rest of the department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. It is great to see the sites take ownership of infection prevention & control.

Fantastic to be in Fort Portal with the @apt_sepsis team. Fort Portal was a control site where newly trained champions are rolling out the intervention across the site. Already there are stories of positive change as we discussed with Commissioner of Maternal & Child Health Richard Mugahi

The #MILK #AtTheEquator team are back in Northern Uganda with the #WISHStudy, exploring barriers to healthcare access for women with disabilities. This was a community initiated project, and aims to ensure equity of access to healthcare for all, funded through Research England
