We did Christmas eve books and I got Robin Wall Kimmerer's The Serviceberry!! I was squeeing I've been waiting with abated breath to get a chance to read it!! Very very happy!

Son and I made our very belated Thanksgiving pie today!
It may not look as pretty as my pies normally do, but this is the first thing I've baked in two years(since broken brain) and I'm calling it a win
We'll find out tomorrow if it tastes up to snuff

This is my Rook, Caterina, yeah I know, not creative. But she's also Crow, so my head cannon is that that's why she just goes by Rook, bc it's weird having the same name as the First Talon, especially when dating her grandson ;p

Little friend got in the house somehow. Husband says they're not allowed to stay, but I'm letting them hang out until the afternoon when the temperatures outside and inside will line up

My clumsy ass hit my head on the freezer for while I was making stew, I have muscled through finalizing the crockpot and it will now work it's magic. I am now going to try to feel less queasy and general cease being useful outside of momming

That's actually where I got mine originally! When my library as a kid was selling off books that were too old etc, I got a very well loved paperback, at this point it's my velveteen rabbit
