Of course I collect Christmas books. Here's the best one, a 1944 edition of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens, published by P.R. Gawthorne LTD of London. Illustrations by Emil Weiss. Purchased at Music & Goods Exchange, Ltd., a secondhand store in Notting Hill, for £7. A sterling investment!

Super excited for author Matthew Minson and this excellent recognition in Publishers Weekly for his book "Crockettville," which was as fun to edit as it is to read! www.publishersweekly.com/9798985471779

How did I miss out on Sue Grafton for so long but now a long line of deliciousness stretches before me.

A website is always a work in progress and I have lots more work to do on mine (maybe update the theme?) but cathyblogs.com got a little love this week.

Sure I live in Indiana but I'm a northern Ohio native and there's nowhere better than Cedar Point. First time at Halloweekends a couple weeks ago and it did not disappoint. The scary guy gave Emmy a friendship bracelet.

I've edited about everything there is to edit but nothing is more fun than working with indie authors. They are the best! Here's the latest one from prolific indie author Steven Becker, from his pirate series Tides of Fortune: a.co/d/6lgAYP3
I adore these pirates and isthmus is such a great word ;)

No trip to Norway needed, the northern lights came to us in northern Indiana last summer and backyard pictures did not disappoint.

What did we do last weekend? No Taylor Swift tickets (we tried) but a 2-hr drive let us get a picture with Mega-Taylor and dance & sing the night away at the Swift Alert Mastermind party.

So since I'm a Constant Reader above all here's some summer/fall reading--caught up on some SK books I had missed ('Salem's Lot, The Stand, extended version), both A+ of course. Need SK starter recs? Try 11/22/63 & Fairy Tale. 💙📚
