She defended Woody Allen left, right and center. And she told women in the business to stop feeling like victims. I have no idea whether she was a great actress, but both a. m. facts disqualified her for me.

The dissociation & isolation Dylan Farrow describes around Woody Allen is very common for survivors of childhood sexual assault. If you've survived it, you recognize how it works. If you're going to praise Diane Keaton today, watch the documentary and donate your time or money.

TO THIS DAY folks in hollywood call dylan farrow a liar for calling out woody allen's abuse even after he married his own adopted daughter
‘I was there. I kept the receipts. I remember how normalized the sexual exploitation of teenage girls and even tweens by adult men was, how it showed up in movies, in the tales of rock stars and “baby groupies”’

Capitalism assigns us a worth based on ability or hierarchy. People & systems can assign a moral value judgment to that worth & it can determines our comfort & survival. As a person with a rare disability, I struggle with my reactions to living and interacting in this system.
