This increased exposure effect is highly dependent on particle sizes. Ventilation is always beneficial for the smallest aerosols and has no effect on very large. But aerosols with an initial size 20-100 micron are more complex - how far they go and how much they evaporate depends on local airflow 4/

Just found the Ladybird book of the hovercraft from 1969. The level of detail is quite impressive including calculation of lift force and a full description of the electrical system.

We had one over N Yorkshire a couple of days ago. Only lasted a couple of minutes and I was so pleased that I looked up at just the right moment.

Something tells me that their algorithm needs a bit of tweaking. I’m sure it’s a great role, but it’s not quite where I was planning next in my career…

Another shrinkflation special, this time from Cadbury’s. If you put “value pack” in big letters maybe your customers won’t notice that it’s the same size tin but with 50g less power?

I’ve just realised that if I look in my fish tank at the right angle I can watch it spit tiny droplets out from the bubbles created by the aerator. It’s quite mesmerising. I suspect there’s some smaller aerosols I can’t see too #FluidDynamics
