Definitely on the hitters. Since they're so bad, definitely a good year just to watch on TV w/ Victory+ rather than waste time and $ going to the ballpark. Sigh.

I guess they had to fire someone. In an earlier article you mentioned that most (all?) of the players have their own hitting instructors. That struck me as odd for a team sport, and likely to create tensions w/ staff. Players likely listen to their own man, not the team's man. Am I overthinking?

As a fan, I'm encouraged that CY backed up his words with actions. Will it all work out as far as a "reset" is concerned, and will other poor-hitting players get the message? One can only hope.

I'll say the same thing I said on Twitter re: this article. Maybe they need more team batting practices, and less Facetime nonsense? (As an aside, it sure was fun watching them score 15 runs tonight. Woot! Woot!)

I agree with you 100%. Not only condensed format but maybe media's fixation w/ celebrities & famous folks They acted like Kobe was the only one on the helicopter. That goes back decades... Payne Stewart, Senator John Tower, Senator Hale Boggs, etc.

Not to the dead, it doesn't. But if @nytimes.com wants to say they're fact-based, my thought is that they need to be persnickety about even the small details.
