Really hope this wonderful anthology of essays makes the rounds, as I can see it helping so many young people with disabilities. Particularly recommend the audio version. 💚 #booksky

This one had been on my list for years. I’m about a hundred pages in, and it’s excellent enough that it kept me up until 3am recently. So glad I finally picked it up.

The best streak I’ve had all year! (I’d never seen Clueless.)

Highlight: The Flower of my Secret. So charming and delightful. Surprised it isn’t one of Almodovar’s better known films.

Book 15 of 2025. Who knew a novel told from the point of view of a bird (a plot device I usually dislike) could fill me with so much dread. Gripping, strangely hilarious despite all the steadily growing tension, and overall brilliant.

Missed posting on Friday but these are my #LastFourWatched. Can’t get over that I watched Blue Velvet and Mississippi Masala within 24 hours of one another. Forever changed! #Filmsky

Not quite buying that they merely “saw the venue on Pinterest” when this is clearly the aesthetic Lively intentionally promoted in her website.

Former Middle East peace negotiator Aaron David Miller was quoted as saying he does not believe that Biden has “the same depth of feeling and empathy for the Palestinians of Gaza” as he does for Israelis in the New Yorker. Just one of the many ways one can easily come to this conclusion.

Fingers crossed that this is enough to disqualify him.

I have the same plant! I water it once a week, slowly from a watering pot until it drains from the bottom, then I keep watering for like 5 more seconds. And in the middle of the week between waterings, I mist it generously.

(I know I need to repot it lol)

If you could use a picture book in your collection that encourages empathy for our unhoused neighbors (and their pets!), I can’t recommend this one highly enough. Such a sweet story. #kidlit #booksky

A sad and beautiful picture book. Happy to see a bunch of libraries in my network own it or have ordered it.

Never in a play, sadly, but I did get to see her at a poetry reading at Lincoln Center! ❤️
