It’s odd that the writer never mentions that Bezos sacrificed the paper’s credibility to score points. That’s why circulation plummeted, not because of the paper’s name, as stated here.

After shutting down, the Dems have to hold out for more than they first initiated. Only funding health care doesn’t seem like much of a win after the current regime’s gross and disgusting abuse of power in Chicago. They zip-tied children!

This is certainly not the norm, but I think many Americans end up in arrangements like this, effectively co-parenting their children’s more vulnerable friends. In some cases, the friends move in, and no parent ever comes looking for them. If they can keep the tax deduction, you can have their child.
