Nigel Farage here, lasting a grand total of three sentences between claiming he's not a racist, and saying something racist

The most frustrating thing about continuing failure to skewer Farage is that his grasp of detail is non-existent. It’s why he gets petulant when exposed to even mildly decent questions. Interviewers just need to zone in on one element of the bullshit & interrogate it until his ignorance is exposed.
Farage on #r4today decrying the increase in costs & red tape since Brexit & calling for Brexit to be “done properly”.
No longer part of the customs union/single market -both of which simplified bureacracy- the costs & red tape on trade have ofc ballooned.
Why was this not put to him directly?

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage says

“We need to leave the ECHR so we can deport people that come illegally & take back control of our borders & that’s what the public wants”

Share if you disagree with his populist boll**** the UK should join Russia & Belarus outside the ECHR

Just popped back over to the other place and all I can see is that blasted petition being promoted in many cases by people who aren’t even eligible to sign it.

Reform MP James McMurdock was jailed for repeatedly kicking his girlfriend.

He had told the media he was jailed for "pushing" his former partner in 2006.

Court records obtained by The Times say the sentence was given because of "the serious nature of the offence”.

Just made the mistake of looking at the replies on one of @carolvorderman.bsky.social's posts at the other place.

Good breakdown of the actual impact of the inheritance tax changes on farms.

The £1m is ON TOP of standard exemptions. So it's £1.3m tax-free if includes a residence. £2.6m if the spouse inherits. £3m if kids get some too.

And the tax is on surplus, not the total.

How many farms would be affected by Budget changes?
Estimates of the number of farms affected range from 100 to 70,000.
