Fun fact for today’s #makersmARTch prompt “draw”— I started my art career by drawing on people’s walls! Chalk art is what brought me to my creative calling, & was my jam for years. I don’t do much of that anymore, but my love of plants is still going strong. 🌿

Whew my first punch needle piece last summer was quite the rollercoaster from concept to completion. Glad she didn’t end up with blue octopus hair! 😅 I love that Procreate saves these timelapse videos so you can revisit the wild ride.

Love taking yarns from dye bath to art! Logwood & madder here for this warm purple. Though I was initially bummed with the color variation in the yarn, in the end I love the additional texture it gives the piece.
