Last seminar today on Euripides' Trojan Women, to end the course on 'War, Law, Humanity.' The entire course has culminated in these lines: (War) 'They are going to kill your boy.' (Law) 'There is no justice here.' (Humanity) 'Consider no prosperous man to have good fortune until he is dead.'
