Yep, trying to balance out that it’s still worthwhile to make photographs for myself but also mourning the commercial career that has payed my bills for the past 15 years.

Another fun aspect of their business is their terrible budgets for hiring artists. I had them get in touch for an ad campaign once and it wouldn’t have even covered a third of what I’ve spent on Adobe products over the years.

This is great. Unfortunately our development is <11m and we’ve been ignored by govs & their legislation for years now.

I’m just so utterly disappointed with @teamlabouruk.bsky.social and their approach to the #claddingscandal I was hoping for genuine change. But here we are, still trapped in our unsafe homes, emotionally and financially at the end of our tethers.

My photography BA dissertation in 2005 was about the female self portrait and advent of the selfie. I loved reading about JenniCam and her reasons for live streaming her life. It felt so novel at the time.
