~40% of Hepatitis B infections are caught in childhood. It is contagious enough that it can be spread just from sharing common household objects.

The chance of chronic infection (ie does not clear, and is associated with high rates of liver failure and cancer) ranges from 50%-90% in this age group.

Acetaminophen/Tylenol use during pregnancy was not associated with children’s risk of autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in sibling control analysis. This suggests associations observed in other, less rigorous analyses may have been attributable to familial confounding (aka erroneous finding):

A woman who was 20 weeks pregnant fed her toddler son raw milk. He contracted Campylobacter and then passed the infection to her; she progressed to sepsis, and had a miscarriage.

She is suing the business that sells the raw milk, saying she didn’t know the risk.

As a physicist I can easily calculate time dilation from relativistic motion (time slows when you're moving fast) or proximity to a massive object (time slows in gravity) but I have yet to find a solution for emotional time dilation (the task takes five minutes to complete but six weeks to start) 🫠
