Went to FreshCo yesterday, mostly for fruit and veg. Some areas completely bare. Lots of CA produce sold out. A few enormous piles of US fruit/veg untouched. Empty spaces where rotten US produce was removed, awaiting new non-US produce? Nice fruit from Central America.

Decompressing after 3 years of university (in my relative old age). Will begin vetting followers pretty soon. Haven't seen anyone particularly egregious so far. It's just what's best to do.

Brazil nuts, almost unique in our food supply, are not domesticated, but are collected in the wilds of the Amazon forest. Communities of indigenous nut harvesters maintain intact forests necessary for the trees. When you eat Brazil nuts, you are contributing to the conservation of Amazon forests. 🌏
