i feel like i looked like someone who didn’t want to be bothered. earphone, on my phone, etc. but was that rude of me? LOL

but i’m starting to question if i was in the wrong? i’m not of the whole “you don’t owe anyone anything” belief. i thought i was being polite by answering his questions, even if it was vaguely. i didn’t even want to talk in the first place.

this much older man who was sitting in front of me was also getting off. i’m assuming he heard everything since he tells me to have a nice day. and it honestly made me feel a little better.

and that he was a “nice guy” just trying to have conversation. and this dude wasn’t being quiet about what he was saying to me. i was caught super off guard and i felt really embarrassed and uncomfortable, i honestly didn’t know what to say, so i didn’t say anything. and he gets off.

i’m starting to hope and pray that gets off before me and that he doesn’t see where my stop is. thankfully, the bus gets to his stop. before he gets off, he approaches me and starts telling me that i should “try being polite” and that i don’t have to be “fucking rude”
