done studies myself was thinking eventually for some smt artstyles do some idk images that run through how to replicate the style both anatomically and in rendering

colour advice is hard as it’s a bit of intuition but if you’re struggling getting it right colour picking is always an option
i sometimes get official art, do colour adjustment over top to my liking (hsb, selective colour etc) and use that to select from

guh thank you for thinking so 🙏 i used the kyle t webster watercolour brushes for photoshop to be able to get textures and all right and just dialled it back with a blend brush if it a bit much. Start with a larger size and applied lightly then you can reduce size
