Quick prototype to have an idea of how a windmill could be built up. Right now it's a pretty bog-standard turbine style, but I wanna have various building blocks for more interesting designs :3

Back at #spelkollektivet! Tonight's dinner is butter chicken, and i added 2 hardboiled eggs. Then we had some princesstårta and a mud pie for dessert :)

Lunch today is quinoa with lentils and carrots. Boiled some eggs to get more protein!

Pretty spoiled during my stay here, can just do #gamedev and pop out for food, no need to get groceries and cook!

Also, the profiler in unreal is a bit too much for my two brain cells. Will have to look up a tutorial later. Atm the game is running at 1440P at 90+fps on a rtx4060 and over 200fps @ 50% resolution scale.

Heck, it runs on a 970gtx at 60fps with 50% […]

lol looking into where disk space is eatup up by....

Textures for non VAT game assets, 15mb on disk.
All non-VAT geometry on disk, 165mb
VAT textures+geometry: 360+mb XD

VAT = Vertex Animated Textures - vertices in a 3d model are animated by looking up a texture.

Also, many thanks to this post, I didn't know about enabling "Full Precision UVs" - this is needed to get the proper lookup when using lookup textures greater than 1024 pixels wide.
