I use it as a little safari trip to see what the dumbest gamers online think. Sadly the past several years it's gotten less interesting and it's mostly just the same repetitive Nazi talking points over and over. That or, yeah, people with 500+ hours saying the game sucks due to lack of content.

I remember when there was a discussion on Twitter about Shein's manufacturing practices and some apologists invented all sorts of fantastical machinery and technology to avoid facing the more horrifying truth. Reminds me of this comedian's joke.

I know the problem is getting worse for video games but being from not-America and consuming American media of any kind is like getting clobbered over the head with an idiotification mallet.

The problem in this situation is the company does care, they're bashing their heads in trying to make another James bond movie because he died in the last one! How is this possibly a difficult challenge? Just make a bond movie.

Thankfully it seems like the generation that grew up after 9/11 isn't as ridiculously racist as their elders so Mamdani took a win but jesus christ do the American populace just hate muslims.

I would say the US is already an authoritarian dictatorship. Nazi Germany didn't suddenly turn into one years after the election when people *realized* they weren't allowed to do democracy anymore, it became one the moment the people accepted Hitler's rule. Trump is already legitimate, it's over.
