Star Trek Podcast where two casual Star Trek fans try and rank every episode of Star Trek on a big list.
Our last episode is DS9’s Empok Nor where Miles O’Brian’s trip to an abandoned Cardassian space station for important parts causes Garak to accidentally get high on psychotropic drugs and turns him into an (even more) dangerous killer! #startrek #halloween (4/4)
October 29, 2025 at 11:43 AM
Our second episode is Voyager’s ‘Darkling’ where the Doctor’s attempts at self-improvement by adding bits of famous people into his personality goes very very wrong causing the birth of an evil Doctor! Isn’t that always the way? (3/4) #startrek #halloween
October 29, 2025 at 11:40 AM
First episode is ‘Wolf in the Fold’ where McCoy’s attempts to get Scotty some (for work reasons, honest) end in many many murders and leads us to ask… is Scotty Jack the Ripper? (2/4) #startrek #halloween

We’ve been threatening Miles with the possibility of this one since we started and we’re finally going through with it alongside its glacial pacing and it’s incredibly not great art.

Then the main event, “Year of Hell”, where the dad from That 70’s Show is in charge of a time-ship, erasing whole societies from the timeline and now his attention’s been brought to Voyager! Who will live? Who will die? Who’ll get some sweet scars?
Check us out on your podcatcher of choice! (3/3)

Non #Startrek thing @milesreidlobatto.bsky.social has been enjoying. ‘Aliens in the Mind’ a 1977 BBC radio serial where Vincent Price and Peter Cushing uncover telepathic mutants on a small island and their spread through British Government. Worth it purely for Cushing and Price double-act. (1/2)
September 25, 2025 at 2:45 PM
Finally, in Strange New Worlds’ ‘A Space Adventure Hour,’ La’an gets to field test this new fangled ‘holo-deck’ and in living out her Girl Detective dreams ends up breaking it almost Immediately. Good. Job. Rate and Review us wherever you podcast! (4/4)

In DS9’s ‘His Way,’ Odo turns to hologram Vic Fontaine for advice in how to get girls, Riker doesn’t neg, Odo doesn’t neg, neither should you! (3/4)

We’re going to be increasing our recording schedule to create a backlog of episodes for medical reasons, so we’re double-booking some Non-TV/Movie Trek stuff today, one episode on the first three episodes of the new ‘Khan’ podcast…

#Startrek comics finally read- Homecoming by @tillybridges.bsky.social was a lot of fun (I remember the old Pendant Defiant fan audio), especially the coughing Doctor. Red Shirts still feels a bit too mean spirited for Trek, but I’m still going to keep reading to the end.

Occasionally we’re too British for #startrek and it’s generally utopian prospects, when that happens, we tend to watch #space1999 (celebrating 50 years this week!) for something far more British, bleak and bloody weird! Here’s the first ‘Space Scamps’ archive ep!

Third and final episode is ‘Nepenthe’ where Picard and Soji drop by some old friends and their family for some nice pizza, Elnor makes and loses a friend in the same day and we finally watch a good episode of #startrek ‘Picard’- just pick off the bits you don’t want from your slice. (4/4)
September 5, 2025 at 12:49 PM
Second episode is ‘Singularity’ where the crew of the Enterprise starts to get hyper fixated on random tasks and not their job while Trip gets a comedy subplot with making a new chair for Captain Archer while @skyshark.itch.io and @milesreidlobatto.bsky.social try not to feel seen. #startrek (3/4)
September 5, 2025 at 12:45 PM
First up is ‘Ravens’ where Neelix teaches Seven how to eat while Seven suffers flashbacks, but more of the trauma kind instead of ‘that one scene in Ratatouille’ kind. #startrek (2/4)

Right, who’s feeling peckish? Thanks to @celesteisbest.bsky.social this week’s Casual Trek is looking at three episodes of #startrek where food plays some kind of role, welcome to Neelix’s Kitchen Nightmares! Rate and Review! (1/4)

Recently read issue 1 of ‘Star Trek: Redshirts’ which, while fine, but I feel like #StarTrek acknowledging the ‘Redshirt’ concept but be playing it fairly straight or for dark humour just makes Starfleet feel a lot more cruel and cavalier towards the deathes of low ranking security officers. (1/?)
