150g white sugar
100ml Smiltsēršķu Juice
400ml Cream
Reduce sugar & juice to a light syrup. Add cream, reduce until coats the back of a spoon. pour into little bowls. chill for 2 hrs. serve w/ berries, shortbread #foodsky #food #cook #cooksky

I was trying to finish for lunch, and slept in so the dough was a little on the chewy side. Latvian food flavours on a pizza is a big win, in my opinion! #food #foodsky #cooking #cooksky

🍽️🍜 I made Caviar out of KVASS and it was so delicious! Kvass is a drink brewed from rye bread from Northeastern Europe. I boiled it down and added agar, turning it into little balls like caviar! Plus sour cream and spiced pork, it took on a different life! #cooksky #cook #food #foodsky

The Halloumi that works best is stuff made only from cow's milk (not traditional) #foodsky #food #cook

Haha it's a fairly normal selection tbf, probably the only odd thing apart from different coloured kiwifruit would be feijoas. But worth a visit for the mountains and beaches for sure!

🍽️🍜 The beauty of an entree is that it is a cost effective way to experiment with flavours and textures. This: tuna w/ toasted fennel salt, pickled courgette & ruby red kiwifruit, topped w/ herbs & roasted parsnip puree. All up, it cost 10NZD, not bad in the current climate. #foodsky #food #cooking
