Ooooh, also the cankles must be cankling today b/c you know Trump would never pass up a chance to try to tower over people he's intimidated by.

His ankles were engorged with excitement over meeting Mayor-elect Mamdani.

Just for this, I’m gonna bring my AI tool to market and call it Grok Obama.

She was chairperson when I worked on FTC responses, and Khan was by far the most knowledgable leader out of all the regs. She knows the spaces remarkably well but not in an attempt to play gotcha nor intimidate. Khan knows her shit so she can understand and appropriately partner w/the private sector

Just Vote for Camacho, it will be fine

I'm prob misunderstanding, but I don't think even if he kept his word and stepped aside would any popular Dem, young or old, would have won in 24

I buy the stereotype that Americans are optimistic and will try anything, but damn, we take it too far. Wtf is up w/us always wanting drastic change

Why TF do we need to wait for the next opp to correct, how about we not shit the bed in the first place. I'm also tired of the Biden/Harris post-mortems. Name 1 person the DNC could have put up who could have won--voters were the ones who chose, they need to be held accountable for their stupidity

Americans are dumb w/no memory, and we tend to vote against something rather than for (only times I remember US voting "for" someone was '88, '96, '08). Things have to be imminently awful for Americans to vote in their best interest, and I don't want another COVID for Dump to be defeated

I don't partake in recreational doses, but I'm a big fan of coca leaves. Did the same in Cusco, it relieved me of many ails and was way more effective than acetazolamide for the altitude. I buy it when I land in Peru or Colombia, and it is a shame whenever I have to leave it behind.

I work in Big Tech, and even there we were like, "yeah, we want her to do what she does," because she is thoughtful and nuanced with her approach. Khan doesn't regulate just to flex, she does it where it makes sense and wants to strike a balance.

Or they could pay their existing controllers and hire more of them to alleviate pressure. Job creators, amirite.

DNC backed Clinton in 2008 for as long as they could, despite Obama winning Iowa. Not until his 4th consecutive primary victory in SC did DNC begrudingly get behind him.

Mamdani has proven himself to be electable, which Dems sorely need right now. I get his detractors worry whether or not he can govern, but again, based on the last time we tried that, I'm willing to bet on Mayor-Elect Mamdani.
November 5, 2025 at 3:28 AM
All the arguments from the left that Mamdani is inexperienced and that voters are getting duped by a social media savvy cult-of-personality seem to forget that the last candidate who looked like that was a jr senator from Illinois. From what I recall, that worked out well.
