The UK Gov intends to hand tens of billions in public money to the fossil fuel industry for a huge wave of 𝙉𝙀𝙒 fossil gas infrastructure. Let's be clear: this is a total scam.

They argue the emissions will be captured, but there's a massive catch👇

This must be stopped.

We forced the government to take some action, but still it closes it eyes to the impending climate collapse. A new method of confrontation is needed, says Indigo Rumbelow, co-founder of Just Stop Oil

My jaw hit the floor when I heard about Gaie Delap's case. A 77-year old peaceful climate protester threatened with being returned to jail...because they can't find a tag small enough for her wrists.

As her MP, I have written to the prisons minister Lord Timpson.

Ever wondered why it's seems the public haven't tied the escalating storm strength to the continued burning of oil and gas?

Maybe the BBC can help answer that @justinrowand.bsky.social

A total of sixteen of my friends have been granted appeal against prison sentences dished out for nonviolent protest, totalling 41 years of jail time.

Can't tell if this is the liberal media understanding that everything is at stake, or if this is just the liberal media complaining about train delays instead of the mass murder of hundreds of millions of people in the global south.
