Hey Bluesky, Do you also feel that modern dating apps are broken?
Too much swiping, not enough meaning and a huge gender imbalance.
Modern tech is awesome, but I feel like these apps are ruining romantic relationships.
I’ve decided to try and build a platform that makes dating healthy again ❤️

Any dating app needs a profile creation screen. Currently mine has
- the option to upload up to 6 images
- the option to add a bio
What other options should I add? What is the best way people can convey their personality?

+ Love Kotlin
+ Very comfortable with spring boot
- Not as fast as a Baas, but allows for more flexibility
Frontend: #Flutter
+ 1 codebase, both IOS and Android
+ Strongly typed
- Relatively new to the ecosystem

Dating apps are often frustrating for both men and women.
For men, the lack of matches can be extremely frustrating. Not being able to form meaningful relationships - despite wanting to - is sad, but it can also seriously damage their self esteem and poison their view of dating and women.
