Lackadaisical about social media. I’m here for weird Anglicans, theology, fountain pens, books, cats, and memes. Big Bend enthusiast. Seminarian (go Thuribulls!) and postulant to the priesthood in the Episcopal Church. She/her.
Aw, yiss

Living alone means just dumping granola into the last of the yogurt in the large yogurt tub and crunching away, free of self-consciousness or decorum.

Beer and psalms at the local dive, say from the news and all of the chores waiting for me at home.

I really enjoyed Texts After Terror, and I find her “fuzzy, messy, messy icky” framework valuable. I look forward to this one (I love interlibrary loan).

The awkward sacristy photo: it’s tradition.

One day I will put on a sheet mask without feeling the urge to read about Xipe Totec, but today is not that day.

Why is this always the moment when my motivation to rearrange the bookcases runs out?

One of my pastors, mentors, and the beloved Associate Rector of my sending parish was just elected Bishop Suffragan of the diocese next door. I'm so happy for her I don't know what to do with myself. She's going to be great.

This is the reading list for Liturgical Theology I at SSW. The recommended books are not really optional.

There are two other Lit Theo classes after this one, Hatchett might turn up. The joy of hunting for out of print books, lol.

I’m feeling quite poorly, but my housemate’s sweet pittie is a great nurse, if a little hyper and unsure on personal boundaries.

Quote post with a picture of water that you took. Rain on glass - one of my favorite things.

It’s been a difficult week. My sweet baby kitty Saké had a major stroke and crossed the rainbow bridge very early Friday morning at the emergency vet. After almost 17 years, I held her at the end.

My heart is in a million little pieces. Give your pets extra love today.

Yesterday it was spitting hail and flooding rain - today’s it’s one of those rare perfect Texas spring days.

Have a little kitty in a bag. I hope your brain settles down soon.

My cat insists that chewing on my rosary is a form of devotion and that I should mind my own. The tortitude knows no bounds.

A moment of silence for the Pilot Vanishing Point I dropped nib down a few minutes ago, please. I will now enter a period of pen mourning (until I order a new nib unit). #FountainPens
