I'm Casey! I talk about art and cats and games (ttrpg, video) and books, formerly unicornbuffet on twt. Enthusiastic transplant to the Philly area.

Here's a tiny little 2.5 x 2.5-inch painting I did of a hamburger a while back. I have a bunch of these little canvases still and I'm trying to come up with fun stuff to paint on them. #art #traditionalart

The gorgeous grotto under the Mercury Loggia at Morris Arboretum. We’re so lucky to have a resource like this in Philly. We don’t go as often as we should, because there’s a left turn on the way that I despise, and you know me, haha. This is colored pencil on black paper. #traditionalart

Whatever else is going on in Blizzard-land, I am loving this new /lean emote. Bjara looks so cool. I don't look this cool when I lean on stuff. #warcraft

Old little sketch from a decade ago. All my plants were falling apart at my office desk and I was bored. I don't normally enjoy looking at my old art, but I still think this one was neat. #art #mixedmedia

This Ina Garten shirt is killing me. I bet Jeffrey wears it around the house.

I’m really enjoying playing around with markers lately. I appreciate how saturated they can get. Little drawings like this are soothing for me - just concentrating on one thing as opposed to a whole scene. #art

This fascinating tall, skinny tree was in the back yard of the house we were at. There were a few different types of ivy/vines/whatever covering it. I thought about painting the tree, but I think the texture comes through in black and white better. #PleinAir #TraditionalArt

We stayed near the river - I kind of wish I hadn't included the sky in this one because I think it's distracting, but the turbines were cool to look at. #PleinAir #TraditionalArt

Posting the first of a few plein air sketches I did while we were out of town this weekend - All of these were done with a Kakuno fountain pen, and the cottage house is in marker. I’m still trying to get comfortable with marker, so that was a useful learning experience. #PleinAir #TraditionalArt

A big spring thunderstorm came through earlier and it made everything look so gorgeously misty and blue-green. My phone can’t quite capture that as well as I’d like, but it’s still nice to look at and listen to. #nature

Oh, to be a little orange cat waiting for his human to come back from a walk.

Oh, to be a little orange cat sunbathing in front of a big window.

Seeing all these public accounts using AI to make those tacky, bland action figure “starter packs” is irritating the crap out of me. #noai #starterpack

This is Edith (and Bartleby, her ancient cat.) She owns an antique shop and especially loves rare books and esoteric knowledge. When you need to know about something weird, she’s the person to call.

Drew a dude. I don’t know what his story is, but I assume he’ll show up as an obnoxious npc in one of my campaigns.
