My favorite era of any social media is when basically no one else is there to read it. I think 2 of you read what I write here. That's great. So much less pressure than 1,500 LinkedIn followers or whatever happened to Fb and and IG. 🙄

I use Firefox as my main browser. Lately, I've had to cave and use Chrome for some work, because the web tools are clearly more optimized for Chrome. I wish that wasn't true, but I only got so much time, y'all. (Specifically, Ancestry,com and Miscrosoft Office web apps.) #browsers

Because my extended family has followed a NY-to-NJ-to-FL migration, I have come back to from Thanksgiving in Florida with a stronger New Jersey accent than when I left.

I've learned something I've wondered for ages... Where does the name Solly come from? It's French, Salle, Americanized to Solly. And look how long ago! Anthony had an ice business (ice!!), and I'm told the man who painted his sign spelled it Solly, and it stuck.

Data point: I got a Covid shot in June, direct from the pharmacy, with no problems. My spouse went for the same thing today, and because of uncertainty about whether one needs a doctor's Rx for a vaccine, it was not easy for him to get a vaccine covered by our insurance. The pharmacist helped. (NJ)
