@npr.org is generally a very high quality news site, which is what makes this error so disappointing. Sure, hold the editor accountable, but, enough BS, you know who wrote this. Give up the underage sex abuse normalizer's scalp.
NPR described Jeffrey Epstein's victims as "underage women," then quickly corrected the error …
… But not before the audience heard it. How did this happen?

One editor whose publication made the White House’s new “media offender” database says his reporter has been subjected to “days and days and days of emails” after being named—an onslaught of “disgusti...

While this is a public institution, the bird's eye view is the Trump Admin didn't like these magazines, so it threatened UofA. Then UofA killed the magazines. A clear attack on speech.

The spokesperson then issued this lie -

First, the head of Caribbean command Admiral Holsey suddenly resigns. Then, one month later, the White House throws his replacement under the bus for seemingly committing a war crime on its orders. I think Holsey knew what was probably coming.

I will eschew the conventional wisdom that it's bad form and strategically unsound to mock Trump supporters and point out that anybody who believes this is innumerate, shockingly gullible, and several other kinds of stupid and ignorant.

The government's individual income tax revenue last fiscal year was nearly 14 times its tariff revenue.

I'm not surprised that Georgia dropped this case but I'm disappointed. Fani Willis let us all down by sleeping with a subordinate. If she'd shown more integrity, we might have gotten a successful prosecution before the election, which effectively killed the case.

This is a critical moment. In a purely political and malicious prosecution, the Justice Dept got caught botching their indictment, and their responses are lying and indignation. The court should respond with contempt of court charges and the VA Bar should disbar the perps.
Justice Department reverses course, now says full grand jury reviewed James Comey's indictment
The turn of events comes a day after federal prosecutors admitted in court that not all grand jury members saw the final version of the indictment against the former FBI director.

Poor Larry Summers. Who could have guessed that one of the key architects of the crash of 2008 would take a fall over his association with Epstein. I hope that Harvard sacks him and he suffers *some* consequences for his sins.

The Democratic wins tonight are great news, but we can't let up. The Republicans have just received a powerful message that they're going to underperform in the next election cycle. They're going to pull out all the stops to steal elections. We must be very vigilant.
