Based on nothing but opinion, it sure feels like ‘modern’ housing has a higher bathroom-to-people ratio than seems necessary, particularly in smaller spaces. But, again based on opinion, it also feels like that is the expectation of buyers. Sometimes I am so very Gen X.

This is not to say I think there needs to be required vehicle parking! But secure, covered vehicle parking is a real need for many in this city because transit+bike town just isn't enough.

What is BIP? I was super stoked to see all kinds of fish passage culvert replacement work happening on 101 along Olympic national Park this summer/fall, which must have been Biden infrastructure deal funds.

Sadistic. Cruel. Despicable. There aren’t enough words.
#BREAKING: The Trump administration is asking #SCOTUS for an immediate “administrative” stay of a Rhode Island district judge’s order that is otherwise requiring it to resume the distribution of SNAP benefits from other funding sources no later than the end of today.

Also in all seriousness of that's what it took to no longer sell my soul to the defense industrial complex, that's what it took. And simultaneously illustrates what we value in this economy.

Ooooo. One of the things my family complains about is how simple foods like ramen or izakaya are all mostly "fancy" in Portland -- this sounds like what we're looking for!

Oh no. I was hoping it was a simple car driver couldn't decipher difference between pavement & tracks.

Use VOTE2025 for two 30-minute rides on Lime e-scooters.

Both are valid now through election day.

Don't forget your helmet, especially when riding e-scooters. It's state law to wear a helmet when riding an e-scooter!

Today I had to drive the dog to the vet and the *look* a cyclist gave me as I came to a stop sign to cross Clinton. It was 100% a result of the daily car harassment they must experience. I wish I had been able to tell him I totally understand and cars in cities ARE stupid.
