Thanks to a $13 electric coffee grinder (our dedicated spice grinder) I turned a cup of the aromatic veggies I dehydrated a few weeks ago into two 4 oz. jars of a veggie/salt blend! One for now, and one vacuumed-sealed for sometime in the future. Total cost?

Thanks to a $13 electric coffee grinder (our dedicated spice grinder) I turned a cup of the aromatic veggies I dehydrated a few weeks ago into two 4 oz. jars of a veggie/salt blend! One for now, and one vacuumed-sealed for sometime in the future. Total cost?

As much as I love when the #IthacaFarmersMarket Pavilion is full of customers and vendors, there's something really lovely about being the only person there too. Especially in winter, when we have the decorations up, and I get into work before anyone else arrives...

I'm counting and packing up coupons for work today so we can be reimbursed, and Mazikeen is... uh ... HELPING.
* Folks who use SNAP at #IthacaFarmersMarket get coupons to help them buy more of our farm-fresh, nutritious food! We pay our farmers, then I ship the coupons off so we get paid back too!

Doing the math on how long I'd been playing #DnD... Started in 6th grade, going to be 51 on Friday... OMG you guys I have been playing #DungeonsAndDragons (and a whole bunch of other #TTRPGs) for 40 ACTUAL YEARS. To celebrate, I bought myself new hardbacks of the 5E basics! 📚🎲😍

Crimson Crisp apples from Black Diamond Farm, vendors at my Market. This time of year you can pre-order a whole "keeper bushel" box! Sweet, a little tart - and I'd like to tell you I plan to bake with them, but I mostly bought them for my son to devour. I get to help though 🍎😍
