I’m full of ideas to use in my classes after the @mstamich.bsky.social conference. However, the best part was seeing the growth of my undergrads; they’re so excited to enter the education profession & want to teach science well— even in the younger grades!

This is crushing news. I spent 2 incredible summers working in a lab and living with other teachers/researchers here. My experience played a huge role in my career choices.
Meanwhile, SF State confirms its plans to close the Romberg Tiburon Center - Estuary and Ocean Science Center. This is a terrific blow to estuarine science in the region, and IMHO represents a tremendous lost opportunity by SFSU to reimagine the site's future. news.sfsu.edu/statement-sa...
