The optimism that this event is great. Though consider this: Many from outside Bakersfield attended this event. Locals who consider themselves full blooded republicans weren’t there. The people I know (all Rs) who live there did not attend and do not care. Also, Kamala and Tim drew large crowds.

The court of public opinion is no longer as powerful or effective as you think. Racists don’t care and there’s a lot of open racism today. But I do like your optimism.

The plan is robotics built first by some humans, then humans will build themselves out of jobs. But not for a while. And china etc will build robots before we do. Add in cost of housing and cost of building plants here in addition to high minimum wages and … manufacturing is not coming back here.

They showed up for Kamala and Tim — how did that go? Can’t sit back all self satisfied on this just because of the circumstances then vs. now. It’s not enough. The indies and unaligned need to embrace or we are screwed again.

It bothers me a great deal that he went golfing, but the magas don’t care. If you want magas or non dems to listen, I recommend focusing on the main issues without mentioning golfing, a word/event that drives magas to the point of missing the point.
