I would love to live in a world where openly expressing your political ideas didn't get you killed. Unfortunately fighting for my humanity is incredibly dangerous and deeply stigmatized in a society that requires I remain dehumanized so they get the simulation of supremacy. All my life I've dealt with the idea that people want to kill me because I decided to leave the house, not because I even said anything at all. This racism is especially important to note because Black people risk more by being at these rallies than anyone, especially when you consider Black Palestinians. Black people are more likely to be brutalized or called slurs at demonstrations whether by police (who may also arrest) or Zionists.

It's not a secret that pro-Palestine rallies are more likely to have Black people attending. It's also been documented by numerous Black individuals online including Briahna Joy Gray that Zionists feel comfortable being racist to them under the guise of "politics"

🧵 There's a fucked up pattern (and non-Black anti-Zionists aren't excused from this either, but I'll address that later) of non-Black Zionists using the oppression of Black people historically as a measuring tool when they want to add weight to their argument. Even when trashing Black Anti-Zionists.

Relevant agreements never even refer to the West Bank or Gaza as 'occupied'. They don't commit Israel to ceasing its illegal settlement-building and annexation. Palestinian rights were postponed for later negotiations, which didn't materialize - and were likely never intended to.

The PLO leadership negotiated the Accords to serve their own political interests - not the rights of the Palestinians.

The Oslo Accords' very foundation was an inherent imbalance of power, which was then codified through the agreements.

A couple of hours ago, the Israeli military massacred at least 35 Palestinians, mostly women & children, injuring dozens more causing amputations & severe burns. Death toll likely to rise.
