Wade Graham’s deep dive into Southern California fire history is right on the mark & I greatly appreciate ICW’s photo and shout-out to our burn cooperative. And yes, too-frequent fire can destroy chaparral but, by definition, well-designed cultural fire only cultivates and regenerates the ecosystem.
