A photo I took of Paul McCartney on a boiling day last summer, attending LIPA for a masterclass. May he have many more summers! Happy birthday dear Paul, you bring us all so much joy.

From the Imagine Peace exhibit at the Museum of Liverpool - John's picture surrounded by 1000's of notes handwritten to him. It overwhelmed me with emotion. Thinking of him today with love and eternal gratitude. #JohnLennon

Martin Parr has died & this grimmest gloomiest greyest, Sundayest of Sundays is the perfect day to watch Signs of the Times.
All four extraordinary episodes are full of pathos, beauty & humour, life & love stories told through relationships with interiors & objects

Happy 76th birthday to the insanely talented musician/arranger/composer John Altman.
His work has touched on the 007 franchise, TITANIC, LIFE OF BRIAN, "The Rutles," over 4,000 TV ads, and playing sax with some of the biggest names in jazz and rock.
And still going strong!

Steve Cropper played on the most enduring records ever made—his work with Otis Redding, an American treasure gone way too soon, is unreal (and that’s him on the Soul Children debut and many others). Here’s Cropper w/ the pioneering Booker T., Otis, and Sam & Dave in 1967 youtu.be/kUk1WTAReyE?...
