Alice stripped down my old GTR1000 today.
For a high mileage, hard worked old (nearly 40) engine, she does not look too bad. Some bits need replacing through wear. big end and main bushes need to be changed. But not terminal.
It will be reborn, once Alice can fund it.

Alice stripped down my old GTR1000 today.

My daughter, removing the engine from Rosie, my old workhorse GTR1000. I wore it out before upgrading to my current ZRX1100. She now has the GTR1400, but is sentimental about old Rosie. There is a selector issue in the gearbox, so time for a rebuild.

My daughter, removing the engine from Rosie, my old workhorse GTR1000. I wore it out before upgrading to my current ZRX1100. She now has the GTR1400, but is sentimental about old Rosie. There is a selector issue in the gearbox, so time for a rebuild.
