Them: "What do you write?"

Me: "Erotic romance."

Them: "But you're a guy."

Me: <Looking down, then back at them> "Last time I checked, yes."

Them: "Are you...", then they whisper, "...Gay?"

Me: "Uh... no. Is that a requirement?"

Them: <shrugs>

I think I had my expectations set too high.

I published my book on Amazon, and was so sure it was good that I expected to see at least one sale the first week.

Patience... going to stop looking at the reports and work on the next book. :-)

If I were considering having someone convert my novel into an Audiobook, how would I start that process? Do I pay them first for the work, or do I contract them to receive a portion of the revenue from the sales of said AudioBook?
